Businesses to be given an additional 2 years for UKCA mark implementation

A recent update on UK regulation gives an additional 2 years (until 31 December 2024) before enforcement of compulsory UKCA marking and end of recognition of CE marking in UK.
In the meantime, businesses are allowed to use either UKCA or CE markings. The move has been made in order to cut costs for businesses and remove potential disruption. A future product marking plans will be reviewed to minimise costs and burdens for business in the longer term.

For reminder UKCA will apply in UK for all product categories currently subject to CE marking:
